Mike Galime Announces Multiple Endorsements

I am pleased to announce that I’ve received the following endorsements of the Utica Police PBA, Utica Fire IAFF Local 32, Teamsters Local 294, NYS Troopers PBA and the I.T.E.A. Local 1 Stagehands Union.

These endorsements and included commentary have each come from the recognition that my priorities are aligned with the people of our city and the services they depend on, and, as Mayor, that I have the experience, knowledge, and common sense to lead our city forward with the operational and fiscal discipline we need to embolden our future together.

“The John E. Creedon PBA of the Utica Police Department believes that Mr. Galime is the best candidate in the race for Mayor of the City of Utica.  His knowledge of how the city government is run is far superior to all the candidates.  We feel he will be the best fit for the city and for public safety.  He will be the most willing candidate to listen to leaders in each department and move the city in the right direction for public safety.”

Josh Harrington, President – John E. Creedon PBA

“Mike Galime prioritizes Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services that taxpayers can depend on. He recognizes the needs of the people of Utica, while also understanding the risks and sacrifice of our members. We look forward to the changes coming for Utica’s future while maintaining Utica’s values, he is the best candidate to lead us on that path while understanding public safety is at the core of it all. Growth and progress are important, but a safe Utica is the best Utica and Mike Galime puts that first.”

Thomas E. Carcone, President – IAFF Local 32

“Teamsters Local 294 is proud to endorse Michael Galime to be the next mayor of the City of Utica. After several conversations it became clear that Mr. Galime is the correct choice to move Utica forward. He is attentive to the needs of the Utica Department of Public Works as well as the needs of all residents in the city. He has realistic goals that we look forward to helping him achieve. Listening to people and understanding how to help them is one of Mr. Galime’s best assets. We look forward to working with him once elected.”
